The Gator GHWCOBD2 is an OBD2 hard wire kit designed to power compatible Gator dashcams directly from the vehicle's OBD2 (OBDII) port no complicated wiring, no occupied accessory socket, and no need to run cables through the dashboard from a fuse box. Simply plug into your vehicle's OBDII port for a clean, discreet dashcam installation that activates parking mode on compatible models for added security while your vehicle is parked.

Compatible with a wide range of Gator dashcam models including the GHDVR72W, GHDVR82W, GHDVR85W, GHDVR92W, GHDVR95W, GHDVR98W, G4KDVR30, and G4KDVR40, this kit provides a powered USB socket output at 5V/2A. Built-in protections cover voltage, current, temperature, and short-circuit conditions, while a voltage cut-off function prevents battery drain during extended parking mode use. It also enables the optional GPS7282W GPS antenna to be connected to compatible dashcams. Note that this kit provides a powered USB socket the USB cable from the dashcam is required separately (supplied with select Gator dashcam models).
