Gator GALT02 4x4 Inclinometer Off-Road Vehicle Information Display
Gator GALT02 4x4 Inclinometer Off-Road Vehicle Information Display with Barometer & Ambient Lighting
A feature-packed off-road information display GPS elevation and speed, pitch/roll (±40°), compass with latitude/longitude, over-speed alarm, barometer, cabin thermometer, electronic clock, auto brightness, and 24-mode ambient lighting strip. 12–24V hardwire.
Product Overview
The Gator GALT02 is an advanced 4x4 off-road information display combining GPS positioning, inclinometer, barometer, and a range of vehicle monitoring functions in a single dashboard unit.
Key upgrade over the GALT01: The GALT02 adds a barometer (300–1100hPa atmospheric pressure), over-speed alarm, electronic clock and date (auto-calibrated via GPS), longitude and latitude display, auto brightness display adjustment, and a configurable ambient LED lighting strip (24 modes).
GPS provides elevation, speed, and coordinates. The pitch and roll gauges (±40 degrees) provide real-time tilt angle data for safe off-road navigation. The over-speed alarm beeps and flashes when vehicle speed exceeds a set threshold.
12–24V DC hardwire compatible. Integrated sunshade and adhesive mount included.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the GALT02 and the GALT01?
Both measure pitch/roll (±40°), GPS speed and elevation, compass heading, cabin temperature, and voltage. The GALT02 adds: barometer (atmospheric pressure), over-speed alarm, electronic clock/date (GPS-calibrated), latitude and longitude display, auto brightness, and a configurable ambient LED lighting strip with 24 modes. The GALT02 is also physically larger (190×60mm vs 155×41mm). Choose the GALT02 for the more comprehensive feature set.
What is the barometer useful for in off-road driving?
Atmospheric pressure readings can indicate incoming weather changes — a falling barometer suggests deteriorating weather, which is useful when planning off-road trips in remote areas without mobile data or weather app access. The barometer also provides altitude confirmation alongside the GPS elevation reading.
What is the over-speed alarm?
The over-speed alarm allows a maximum speed threshold to be set. When the vehicle exceeds this speed, the display beeps and the speed reading flashes as a visual and audible warning. Useful for managing speed on unsealed roads or enforcing in-vehicle speed limits for fleet and mine site applications.
Does this unit require an external GPS antenna?
A GPS antenna or receiver is required for GPS functions (elevation, speed, coordinates, clock synchronisation). Whether an external GPS antenna is included or built in is not confirmed in the available supplier data. Contact the F.A.E. team to confirm before purchasing.
What are the ambient lighting modes?
The GALT02 has an ambient LED light strip below the display with 24 selectable colour/mode options, plus an off setting. The ambient lighting can be customised to suit the vehicle interior.
