The Gator GRV43KT is a complete wired reverse camera kit comprising a 4.3-inch dashboard display and a butterfly mount reverse camera. The high-brightness 500cd display is mounted on the dashboard via an adjustable adhesive mount, while the compact IP67-rated CMOS camera mounts on the rear of the vehicle via a butterfly surface mount.

The monitor features two video inputs a second or front camera can be added to expand the system's viewing capabilities. Picture adjustment buttons (brightness, contrast, saturation) are located on the rear of the monitor for a clean front face.

Does the monitor display a mirrored (reverse) image?

No. The GRV43KT monitor does not have an image flip function. The camera outputs in rear view orientation (non-mirrored). Most reversing cameras display a mirrored image — confirm whether non-mirrored suits your preference before purchasing, or contact the F.A.E. team for advice.

Can I add a second camera to this system?

Yes. The GRV43KT monitor has two RCA video inputs — a second camera (such as a front view camera) can be added and switched between on the monitor.

Is this kit compatible with my vehicle?

The GRV43KT is a universal 12V kit compatible with virtually any passenger car, van, ute, or SUV. It is not designed for 24V commercial vehicles.

What type of camera mount does this kit include?

The included camera uses a butterfly surface mount — a compact low-profile bracket that mounts the camera on a flat or slightly curved surface on the vehicle exterior. No drilling is required for the standard butterfly mount.

Is the installation suitable for a DIY enthusiast?

Yes. The GRV43KT is designed for straightforward DIY installation — the camera mounts with the butterfly bracket, the monitor attaches via adhesive to the dashboard, and the cable connects between them. The reverse trigger wire connects to the reverse light circuit to activate the display automatically.
