Stinger SHD821 HPM Series MIDI Fused Distribution Block
Stinger SHD821 HPM MIDI Fused Distribution Block, 2 Input / 4 Fused Outputs
An HPM Series fused distribution block for large multi-amplifier builds two 1/0GA or 4GA inputs, four fused 4GA or 8GA outputs, four individual fuse positions accepting AFS, Mini ANL, or MIDI fuses. Chrome-plated brass, protective cover included.
Product Overview
The Stinger SHD821 is the larger fused HPM Series distribution block, providing individual output fusing for up to four amplifiers from two high-gauge power inputs. Each of the four outputs has its own fuse position accepting AFS, Mini ANL, or MIDI fuse formats ensuring per-amplifier protection throughout the installation.
Chrome-plated brass construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Fuses are not included, select the appropriate type and rating for each amplifier.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the SHD821 and the SHD820?
The SHD820 has one input and two fused outputs — suited to two-amplifier builds. The SHD821 has two inputs and four fused outputs — suited to four-amplifier builds. Both provide per-output fusing with the same fuse format compatibility.
What is the difference between the SHD821 and the SHD21?
Both have two inputs and four outputs. The SHD21 is non-fused — relying on external main-line fusing. The SHD821 adds individual fuse positions per output, protecting each amplifier independently.
What fuse types and ratings does this block accept?
The SHD821 accepts AFS, Mini ANL, and MIDI fuse formats. Fuse ratings should be selected to match each amplifier's recommended fuse size as stated in the amplifier's installation manual. Fuses are not included.
Why use a 4-output fused block rather than four separate inline fuse holders?
A centralised fused distribution block provides a single, tidy point for all per-amplifier fusing — cleaner than four separate inline fuse holders scattered through the build. It also uses a compact design that saves space in the boot.
Can the two inputs be connected from two separate power sources?
Yes. The dual input design allows two separate power runs — for example, from two batteries in a dual-battery setup — to feed the distribution block, which then splits to four amplifiers.
